This 2015, Davao Region led by Department of Tourism – Region XI and the Davao City Tourism Office (CTO) invites all tourists to visit Davao through the Visit Davao Fun Sale 2015 (VDFS). It is a sale program that promotes Davao as the foremost summer travel destination. The DOT and CTO are working with private tourism stakeholders to bring exciting sale offers to local and foreign tourists from April 3 to May 17, 2015. All sale offers and deals from hotels, restaurants, malls, and other establishments are also available to Davaoeños.

Promos, sales and deals during the Visit Davao Fun Sale include:

• Seat Sale by partner airlines: Cebu Pacific Air and Air Asia;
• Discounted FUN Tours and FUN Packages via the VDFS Tours Consortium, composed of Davao City Tour Operators;
• Discounted accommodation packages at partner hotels;
• Shopping, dining, and relaxation discounts during sale events at the 12 malls around Davao City;
• 20% off promos at over 100 food establishments and at participating health, beauty, and wellness centers; and
• Fun Raffle Prizes that entitles participants to avail of be fun free tours to nature and adventure resorts, courtesy of Bonamine’s Tuloy ang Byahe Free Fun Tours Raffle Contest.

You can book fun tours and fun accommodation packages through the VDFS portal at http://visitdavaofunsale.com.

To avail of discounts and promos from participating malls, restaurants, and beauty and wellness centers, you can get a VDFS Passport at VDFS Booths at malls around the city. The VDFS passports contain details on participating establishments and the special deals and offers available during Visit Davao Fun Sale 2015.

Homegrown tech startup Lifebit has created the Visit Davao City Lifebit App. Through the app, VDFS Tourists can redeem discounts which have corresponding points. The app user with the highest redeemed points entitles the winner to two round trip tickets to Manila courtesy of Air Asia. Download the app at:
