Taiwan Excellence in Davao

Who loves milk tea? We do! And Taiwan is where all the good milk tea comes from. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is bringing all the Taiwanese goodness and more to Davao. Get to experience Taiwan Excellence in Davao at the Davao International Marathon 2019 (DIM 2019).

The best brands, products, and innovations from Taiwan will be on display here in Davao this weekend.

Davao International Marathon

This Sunday, Davao will play host to the Davao International Marathon.

There will be 42 kilometer and 21 km races with runners from all over joining the event. DIM 2019 will also have 10 km and 5 km races.

The Davao International Marathon is a Green Race.

DIM 2019 runners are required to bring their own reusable cups and bottles to be used during the event. All are reminded to be responsible and dispose trash properly.

Marathoners will be starting their run from People’s Park.

Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone

DIM 2019 is presented by Taiwan Excellence. And TAITRA is assembling an Experience Zone at the People’s Park during the marathon.

And TAITRA is bringing only the best. Taiwan Excellence in Davao will feature handpicked brands and products that have received the Taiwan Excellence Award.

Products on display are selected based on their superiority in the following categories: design, quality, marketing, and research and development. Needless to say, all are made in Taiwan. The Taiwan Excellence Award is recognized in 102 countries.

The Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone will proudly display more than 30 products from cutting-edge brands.

The DIM 2019 and Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone is TAITRA’s first event in the Philippines outside of Metro Manila.

Kadayawan Festival is a celebration of Davao’s unique melting pot of cultures highlighting the life, arts, and culture of our indigenous peoples. This year, Marco Polo Hotel Davao celebrates Kadayawan with its 4th Fashion Fusion Featuring NiñoFranco by Wilson Limon.

Wilson Limon is known for his RTW and custom made pieces made with traditional ethnic design elements from various Mindanao tribes. Wilson is the first ever winner of the I AM STELLAR Fashion Design Competition. His deep appreciation for the arts and culture of indigenous peoples is apparent in his pieces.

This year, Marco Polo Davao kicks off their Kadayawan celebration with the launch of the NIñOFRANCO Trunk Show at the Lobby of Marco Polo Davao today, August 4, 2018.

The NIñOFRANCO Trunk Show will feature pieces that showcase the arts of the Bagobo Tagabawa, the Blaan, the Tagakaolo, and the Tboli tribes.

Marco Polo’s Fashion Fusion Opening Night will also be feature limited edition Philippine Eagle plush toys. The plush toys are accessorized with NIñoFRANCO Tangkulo-inspired scarves.

Piolo Pascual: Keeping Promises with Sun Life

The Davao audience is hyped. A must-watch and sought after concert act is coming to town. James Reid and Nadine Lustre are bringing the Jadine Revolution Concert to Davao. The Jadine REVOLution Davao Concert will be held on April 29, 2018 at the USEP Gymnasium.

The first Jadine REVOLution Concert was held on February 9 at the country’s premier concert venue, Araneta Coliseum. Jadine filled the venue and rocked the stage as praises from fans came pouring in shortly after the event. After one week, James and Nadine brought the concert to San Fernando, Pampanga.
