We’re back with the best of February 2025. From a savory Pancit Molo by Recuerdo to sweet Bombolini by AB Bakery, we have selected our favorites from the past month.

Pancit Molo by Recuerdo
First on our list is Pancit Molo by Recuerdo.
We love everything about this. The soup is garlicky and salty with just a hint of sweetness and tang. There is a good amount of dumplings with molo wrapper, tons of garlic bits and green onions. This is a great way to start your meal at Receurdo. We underestimated this and ordered only one cup of rice. But this (and the Inasal Skewers) was so good, we had to order another cup.
Recuerdo is located along Molave Street corner Mangga in Juna Subdivision.
Creamy Truffle Pasta by Paramount Coffee
Next on our favorites is Creamy Truffle Pasta by Paramount Coffee.
This one makes us happy. Most cafes in Davao barely serve savory dishes. So we are glad to see this and other savory dishes on Paramount’s menu. And we are happy to report that this Creamy Truffle Pasta is a must-try. The sauce is smooth and creamy with just the right amount of (what we assume to be) truffle oil. It has a generous amount of fresh mushrooms. All tossed in withproperly cooked pasta. It might not be the most picturesque, but it is definitely one of the best pasta dishes we have tried recently.
Paramount Coffee has branches in Lanang, along Mabini Street in Poblacion, and inside Riverfront Corporate City.
Kale Ceasar Wrap by Clean Cafe
And for something light and healthy, we recommend the Kale Ceasar Wrap by Clean Cafe.
The tofu is tasty. The greens and other veggies are crisp and fresh. It is generously coated in a luscious, rich Garlic Ceasar Dressing. It is a bomb flavor that complements the tofu and the veggies well. All these components are all wrapped up in a soft vegan wrap.
Clean Cafe is located at The Compound along CVA Drive (Tulip Drive).
Biscoff Croffle by Wakeful Coffee
Our first sweet treat from February is the Biscoff Croffle by Wakeful Coffee.
The croffle is crisp and tasty. Not greasy. It is generously topped with Biscoff spread and light whipped cream. The textures come together well and not one component is overpowering. The flavors work in harmony with each other to make a tasty dessert treat.
Wakeful Coffee is located at Obrero Suites along Palma Gil Street in Obrero.
Bombolini by AB Bakery
Finally, our latest recommendation for February 2025 is Bombolini by AB Bakery.
We have been interested in trying this for quite a while now. But it is only available occasionally. Fortunately, they had Bombolinis during the Abreeza Love-A-Fair. We wanted to three all three flavors but settled on just the Chocolate Hazelnut. And it was good. The pastry is soft and pillowy and the filling is luscious. There is a good ratio of filling to pastry. Will definitely try the other flavors soon.
