Happening this weekend is The Grand Tasting at DusitD2.

About The Grand Tasting at DusitD2

The event features a buffet menu prepared by 10 chefs featuring local produce.

Grand Tasting Menu

The featured chefs, along with DusitD2 Davao have prepared a menu that features the best Davao produce in various exciting preparations.

The Tasting offers 3 Starters. It includes a Malagos Cheese Bar featuring local cheeses by the renowned Malagos Farmhouse.

Dusit Thani Executive Chef Piya Suthasiri will serve Thai-Style Cured Local Fresh Kinilaw with Oysters.

Entrees

Chef Tippi Tambunting of M Cafe will serve Heirloom Tomatoes and Capsicum Ensalada, Feta and Brioche Crisp with Microbasil for Starter. And she will also prepare Beef Rendang with Sunmade Brown Rice for Entree.

Another entree is by Chef Marco Anzani of the Anzani Restaurant in Cebu. Chef Anzani will serve a Homemade Beetroot Ravioli Stuffed with Osso Bucco Stewed on Porcini Mushrooms Cream Sauce.

Corner House Executive Chef David Thien will featured Malagos Pepato Cheese in a Rustic Chicken Pie.

Singapore-based Filipina Chef Lisa Revilla will serve Crispy Sushi. Her sushi features Marinated tuna with Crispy rice and a Smoked Sriracha Aoili.

Chef Jorge Mendez of Modan will serve Roasted Lamb with Paitum Curry and Nori Chip. Cured Gensan Tuna with Paitum Tossa and Palapa Bussi by Chef Mendez will be on the menu, as well.

Finally, La Cabrera will offer an Argentinian Parillada of Chorizo, Entraña, Ribeye, Shortribs, and Sirloin.

Desserts

Desserts at the Grand Tasting will be by Joel Rodriguez of the famed Osvaldo’s Cakes.

First, a Chocolate Coated Tinagtag on Dark Chocolate Cheesecake with Malagos Guava Preserve on a Coconut Kaffir Macaroon Crust.

And of course, Osvaldo’s signature Cheesecake featured Malagos Blush Blue with Figs, Walnut, and Honey Drizzle.

LUISITA RUM

The event will also feature Luisita Rum.
