Comfort and gourmet seem like two contrasting words to describe food. But these two are expertly and oh so deliciously brought together at ArtisAna. Dish by dish. Plate by plate.
Take their Balot Al Ajillo.
Chef Annie Garcia takes the quintessential Filipino delicacy Balot and makes it gourmet. It is familiar and known to all. Comfort food for many. ArtisAna’s Balot Al Ajillo is deep fried balot. Then, cooked with lots of garlic and and spring onions. There is nothing plain and simple here. New and exciting. Yet still the same balot we all love.
ArtisAna Favorites
Our Editor Ria of Kusina Maria loves both the ArtisAna KBL and the ArtisAna Beef Pares.
Both dishes are served according to what most Filipinos know and love about them. Everything you love about them are present. All the flavors, textures, ingredients, and components. But this time, more refined. Levelled up. And with extra care. Each one is comforting yet interestingly intriguing. And yes, irresistibly good. If you are on a diet, forget about it.
These are just some of their must-try dishes that we highly recommend. We also give thumbs up to the ArtisAna Salad and the Roast Porchetta Binagoongan. For dessert, order the Keso de Bola Cheesecake.
ArtisAna Comfort Gourmet is new in the Davao food scene. But the people behind it certainly are not. And it shows. Every item on the menu is well thought out and flawlessly executed. Filipino comfort food at its finest.
