The Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2011 (DFAT) will feature some of the best treasures of Davao, its exotic flora and fauna. One of the event’s highlights is a visit and special tour at the Philippine Eagle Center where DFAT participants will take a special extended tour of the park and the Philippine Eagle Foundation‘s (PEF) facilities.
PEF has prepared a special educational park tour for the DFAT participants with a focus on the park’s conservation efforts. The tour will featuring Pag-asa, the first Philippine Eagle bred and raised in captivity. With this tour, PEF and DFAT hope to raise awareness about the preservation of our ecology and the conservation of our endangered species.
