Guerilla Filmmaking Workshop 5

In its quest to strengthen the filmmaking movement in Mindanao, Alchemy of Vision and Light Film and Television Productions will once again conduct the Guerilla Filmmaking: Filmmakers in The Making Workshop on October 6-7, 13-14, and 20-21.

The Guerilla Filmmaking Workshop is one of the highlights of the annual Mindanao Film Festival which is held every first week of December. Already on its 5th year, this digital filmmaking crash course deems to capacitate Mindanao filmmakers, film enthusiasts, students, and people who wish to tell their story through an alternate medium of cultural and artistic expression.

Kasagingan’s Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows

Twice or thrice a week, Kuya Andrew and I go to a local cafe to avail of free WiFi and enjoy delicious hot and cold drinks. We usually drink hot tea. But there are times when we want to indulge our chocoholic selves, and we go to Kasagingan. Why? To drink their delectable Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows. YUM!

Davao’s Park

For months now, the historical PTA Grounds, located in the heart of Davao City, has been closed to the public. It has been undergoing a total makeover. As part of the local government’s aim to make the city more environment-friendly, it has made the PTA Grounds into a garden in the middle of the city’s downtown commercial area.
