Polo Bistro
As part of the Davao Food Appreciation Tour, fourteen very lucky bloggers ate a five-course meal at the Polo Bistro Pool Lounge of the Marco Polo Hotel.
First off, we tried the very peppery (but not spicy) Pepper-Crusted Seared Tuna served with Cucumber and Kani Relish. It was very successful in making our tongues be prepared for more Continental Cuisine delights prepared by Sous Chef Alex Bomanlag.

The serving of the main dish was preceded by a live cooking presentation of our food. (SEE VIDEO!)

Claude’s Le Cafe de Ville
A reader emailed me to ask for a recommendation. He was asking for a nice comfy restaurant here in Davao City where one could have a nice, private romantic dinner. Only one place came to mind: CLAUDE’S. Although there are a lot of good restaurants here in Davao City, Claude’s is the only one with a more private setting where one can dine in relative silence. The ambiance is perfect for intimate dinners.
