The Year of the Earth Pig is almost here. Welcome the Lunar New Year at Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao with a delicious oriental cuisine spread.

Café Uno at Waterfront offers a spread of Chinese and Asian cookery starting February 1. The sumptuous six-station buffet is specially crafted by Waterfront’s F&B team for a festive dining experience.

Crispy Spring Rolls, Fried Siomai, and Shark’s Fin Pizza take the spotlight in the spread of starters. There is a salad bar and assorted sushi and sashimi to complete the list of appetizers.

The Lunar Year Buffet highlights a 12-course selection. At the center is a special carving station of Lechon Macau, Peking Duck and Pork Charsiu. Other signature specialties include Salt and Pepper Squid, Stir Fry Beef and Bok Choy in Oyster Sauce, and Kung Pao Chicken.

The buffet also features different noodle dishes and various dimsum. Popular favorites Shark Fin and Crab Siomai will surely delight diners.

Waterfront Insular Davao will celebrate the Lunar New Year on February 5 with lively performances of the traditional lion dance starting at 11:00 am to usher in good luck and prosperity.

Natural born Filipinas with at least one Filipino parent, 14 to 18 years old are qualified to join Miss Teen Philippines 2019. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an educational institution, must be single, and must be at least 5’2 in height.

The Regional Finals will be held on February 16, 2019 at The Annex of SM City Davao. The winner will represent Davao at the Miss Teen Philippines 2019 Pageant.
